I’m Satnam Shergill Founder of ODA, with over 20 years hands on commercial experience as an Oracle Database Administrator. Throughout my career I have worked for many FTSE-100 companies, working on some of the largest & most complex databases to date. From IBM, Capgemini, Office for National Statistics and the Ministry of Defence to name but a few.

I have put these courses together to teach you my knowledge and skill set that I have acquired over my career to fully equip you to manage an Oracle Database with ease and confidence.

My courses are designed to teach you from beginner to expert level, starting from the ground up by teaching you the fundamental Concepts of a Database. Furthermore giving you a solid working foundation to develop your skills to industry expert standards.

Upon completion of my courses, you will be able to install, upgrade, perform routine backup & recovery tasks when required and tune a poorly performing database to its optimal performance. You will also be able to figure out and solve simple to complex problems working to a methodical approach. You will gain this knowledge from a real-life Oracle Administrator, not some classroom teacher with no commercial experience just regurgitating the manual to you.
